Knud “Chris” Bach passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 just seven days shy of his 87th birthday.
Chris was born in Denmark and immigrated at eighteen months to Canada, just west of Bowden. He was the first born of nine children, and moved to Calgary in 1943 to make his way in the world. He met the love of his life Verne at a boarding house in Calgary and they married in 1950. Together they raised three children, Ralph, Jennifer and Tim.
Chris is survived by his sons, Ralph (Sharon) and Tim; grandchildren, Suzanne (Dave), Robin (Chris), Trever, Steve (Amanda), and Kristin(Matthew); and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Jaxon, Chase, and Maya. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Verne and his daughter Jennifer.
A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY(Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
