Carmine Aurigemma of Calgary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the age of 78 years.

Carmine was born on June 23, 1933 in Monteforte, Irpino, Italy and immigrated to Calgary, Alberta in March 1966.

Carmine is survived by his sister Giuseppina Lombardo of Calgary and brothers Gerardo (Giovanna) of Calgary, Vincenzo (Lina) of Switzerland, Antonio (Graziella) of Milano, Italy and Michele (Maria) of Monteforte, Italy. He was predeceased by his parents Gaetano and Mariagrazia.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
