January 12, 1929 – February 10, 2013

Joseph Arisman beloved husband of Mary Julia Arisman (nee Varga) of Calgary, AB passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the age of 84 years.

Born in Bow Island, AB on January 12, 1929 to Peter and Barbara Arisman, Joe spent most of his growing up years in Lethbridge, AB. He was employed by Molson’s Brewery for 36 years. Joseph loved baseball, especially his team the Red Sox, enjoyed golfing, growing irises and most of all enjoyed his children and grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife Mary of 54 years; his 3 children Monica Arisman, Thomas (Lana) and Patrick (Charlene); 3 grandchildren Christoper, Alexander and Kayla; sister Frances Macintosh; brother Steven (Eria) Arisman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents Peter and Barbara; his brother George and his sister May Bolokoski.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Joseph’s honour may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119-14th Street N.W.
