ANTON, John Andreas

May 23, 1953 – March 4, 2013

John beloved husband of Joanne Leslie Anton (nee Kachmarski) of Calgary, AB, passed away on March 4, 2013 at the age of 59 years.

Born and raised in Calgary, John graduated from St. Mary’s high school in 1972. He then went on to attend SAIT where he received a diploma in Telecommunications. He married Joanne in 1975 and they welcomed their daughter Michelle in 1986, which made for John’s favorite birthday. John loved to travel, mostly with someone else navigating, so he could relax and enjoy the scenery. One of his favorite past times with his friends was to play golf and improve his game.

John is survived by Joanne, his wife of 38 years; their daughter Michelle (Warren); granddaughter Jessica; sister Renate (Robert); many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step-mother Claire Anton.

John was predeceased by his parents John and Ida Anton; sister Brigitte Anton and many Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
