Dear Doris, Shirley, Joyce, Norma, Dorothy (Mom), and all who loved Monty,
It is with the deepest sorrow that we heard of Uncle Monty’s passing. Nothing, I suppose can prepare us for the inevitable loss of a loved one, and when it does come, the only thing that can console our broken hearts is the cherished memories we have of them. Please know that not only you share these fond and oh so special memories of Monty for he has touched so many with his kindness and a gentleness that is often described, certainly in his case, as a gentle giant. Yes, Monty was a big man in stature, but all who knew him would agree he was an even bigger man at heart and his memory will live long with all those whose lives he has touched in such a grand way. It is our sincere hope that during this most difficult time, we can rejoice in Monty’s memory and I’m certain all of us will be thankful for the time we had with him.
    Love, Cam and Carrie

Words simply cannot express the sadness I feel at Monty’s passing. Sylvan Lake will not be the same without his smiling face and kind-hearted ways. I simply cannot imagine the place without him. My sincere sympathies to you, Doris, as you begin this new journey without Monty. You will miss him every day, in every way, I am sure. His life was truly a gift to all who had the good fortune to know him.
