  5. Beth Morton Duckworth :

My Uncle Bill was such a generous and life-loving man! While I didn’t get to see him as much in these later years, he always brought a smile and such happy memories. Uncle Bill lived large and touched many lives. We love him and will miss him!

  6. Bill was my brother-in-law and one I always enjoyed being around especially during branding time. He leaves a legacy with this through poetry. His sister, Jane, wrote of his “rounding-up the branding crew” in her poem Branding. So, Bill will always be remembered in the written word and a good person.
And, quoting from the poet Sharlot Hall for Bill, “The Light of God is on the land that lies Beyond the Range.”
My thoughts are with Annie and all of Bill’s family.
    Uncle Dick
