Condolence Messages

  1. Leo and Kathy Buckley :

We are deeply saddened by the news of Uncle Mike’s passing. Our heartfelt condolences go out to each of Mike’s children, Robert, Joe, Mary, Rick and their families. We have wonderful, fond memories of Uncle Mike that stretch over many decades. Our visits to Calgary were always brightened by the warm and generous welcomes we received. Every time we felt accepted and honoured to be made part of the family. We really appreciated our last visit with Mike and to have experienced his wit, humor and joy for life. We will truly miss Uncle Mike. Unfortunately, we regret not being able to be there in person for support (travelling in the US). We send our prayers and love to all his family.

  2. Monique Stokvis :

Joe and Ann , Mary and. Rick, (Christine) our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. What a huge loss. At least one can say that at. 96, he lived a huge full life, although even at that age, it still feels much too short. I can still remember the first time I met your Dad (Mike) at your (Ann and Joe’s) wedding, and he put me in charge of the “boosta (sp) box”. He must have checked on me 25 times.

Always the gentleman, always the kind spirit- he will be sorely missed. So sorry for your loss
