Bernie, beloved husband of Carmel of Calgary, passed away on Thursday November 14, 2013 at the age of 67 years.
Bernie is remembered as a humble, kind and gentle human being who cherished his family and gave freely of his knowledge and abilities to all who asked. His quiet patient advice was always given with the very best of intentions and greatly appreciated. He loved to have people around to share stories and good times with. All who knew Bernie now live in a smaller world without him. Bernie had a genuine love for all kids, especially his children.
He is survived by his wife, Carmel; children, Lyle, Lara and David and Shannon; his sister, Ileene; brother, Allan (Anne); nieces, Lee Anne, Jennifer and Michelle; nephews, Michael, Miles and Bari; sister-in-law Pat (Gordon); and brother-in-law, Don (Norma). He was predeceased by parents, Evelyn and George and his beloved older brother, David.
