Ainsworth, Buffy Anne

Buffy Anne Ainsworth, beloved wife of Bob Ainsworth, of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the age of 54 years.

Buffy was born on March 4, 1952 in Calgary. She attended the University of Calgary, earning a BA in English, and the University of Edmonton, completing course work leading to her Teaching Certification. Buffy will be fondly remembered as a wife, friend, and mother, as well as a teacher, musician, accomplished poet, and writer. Besides her loving husband, Buffy is survived by her two daughters, Heather and Jill, her son, Stephen, as well as her mother Laura Stewart Patterson, all of Calgary. Buffy is also remembered by her sisters Luana (Ken) Waldron, of St Albert, and Sylvia Polachuk, of Calgary, as well as her brother, John (Lee) Patterson, also of Calgary. She was predeceased by her father, Henry S. Patterson.
