ADAMS, Linda Susan

August 4, 1950 – February 26, 2012

Linda Susan Adams passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the age of 61 years.

Linda the youngest of seven siblings was born and raised in Calgary, AB. After completing her education at Viscount Bennett High School Linda went on to enjoy a career in various businesses before settling happily with RGO office products for the past thirty years. Linda will be remembered by all who knew her as a quiet, gentle woman who would cheerfully lend a hand to anyone who needed help. Linda will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her sisters Anne Lang, Audrey Shandro and Rosemary Stiff; by her brothers Jim (Diane) and Don (Faith) Adams; and by numerous nieces and nephews plus all their families who will remember Linda with love. Linda was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Arthur Adams, older brother Peter, and brother-in-law Larry Stiff.

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 40 Street S.E.) on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

  2. Linda’s many friends at her work in RGO stretched up Highway 2 to her RGO Edmonton family as well. When we opened the RGO Edmonton Linda was an integral part of helping us get on our feet.
    Her incredible positive attitude helped me through many a stressful day.

  9. I met Linda on Unit 61 …. I was a patient …. She will always be an inspiration to me as she was a shining example of celebrating life no matter what you are dealt with – in her case a huge blow with the cancer….for the very brief time I shared a room with her I learned more about living with grace and humility and I will never forget her smile….the heavens have opened the gates and recieved an angel…she is and was truly a beautiful person who will be remembered by myself and family as a very special person….I send my sincere condolances to you all….she loved her family and friends dearly…..Blessings to you all….Di Zimmer
