Marsha Lynn Aasen (nee McDougall), beloved wife of Darrel Aasen of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the age of 62 years.
Marsha will be lovingly remembered by many for her inspiration to others, endless love, support, gratitude and most of all her laughter. Marsha was never more proud of all her creative sewing accomplishments, such as dance costumes for the students of “Eurythmics Dance Studio”. However, her greatest accomplishment was her three children. She valued spending time with her children especially at Christmas time. She was a very loving grandmother, known to her three grandbabies as “Gammie Toad”.
Besides her loving husband Darrel, Marsha is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kelvin and Karen of St. Albert, AB and Scott of Calgary; a daughter Jodi of Cochrane; three grandchildren, Tristan, Nicklaus and Jacob; and her dog Mandy. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Donnie and Rosalie McDougall; and a sister and brother-in-law Bernice and Ches Bennett.
