She married Jerry Adams after the war and when Jerry rejoined the Canadian Army in 1950 the family moved to Calgary from 1953 to 1958. Next came a wonderful posting to England from 1958 to 1961, after which the family returned to Calgary. Ethel led a full life raising her children and being the wife of an army officer.
