Harry Thomas Moore of Calgary passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the age of 88 years.
Harry was born on November 27, 1916 in Carseland, AB, and he spent all but twenty years living in Alberta.
He is lovingly remembered by his son and daughter-in-law Bryan and Jane of Edmonton; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Jim Rhyno of Canmore, and Donna and Bud Shandro of Calgary; his nine grandchildren, Lisa (Kevin) Jenikinson, J.J. Maitland, Dawn (Bill) Beattie, Tory and Kevin Moore, Tyler, Evan, and Collin (Amber) Shandro, and Janene (Steve) DiPiano; and five great-grandchildren. Harry was predeceased by his wife Norma in 1991; and his brother Robert in 1944.

Teodoro Ollero of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Forest Grove Care Centre on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the age of 85 years.
Teodoro was born on October 23, 1920 in Agoo La Union, Philippines and was the youngest of four children. He was a retired Teacher of thirty-five years at Bantog Elementary School in Asingan, Pangasinan.
Teodoro is survived by his children, Araceli Ollero (Lito) Ramos, Aurora Ollero (Espiridon) Casiano, Romy (Iris) Ollero, and Alex (Nanette) Ollero; his daughters-in-law, Susana and Leticia Ollero; his grandchildren Junalyn, Ezekiel, Ruth, John, Teodoro, Lizel (Restie) Sacdalan, Eric, Marjorie, Gemo, Dustin, Charlotte, Alfie, Carla, Dianne, Angelica and Ariel. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Lydia (Francisco “Pepe”) Siapno, Francisca Viray and Purita Pedro and families in Canada, the United States, Australia and the Philippines. Teodoro was predeceased by his wife, Adelaida; his three sons, Antonio, Luisito and Paciano Ollero; and his four sisters and two brothers.

Norma Ewashen beloved wife of William, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at 4:43 a.m. on Thursday , October 27, 2005 at the age of 61 years.
Norma loved spending time with her family and friends and her passing will leave a great void in our lives.
Norma is lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by William, her husband of 41 years, and her children, Tom, Ted (Angela), Lorraine (Rick), and her grandchildren Todd, Lesa, Andrew and Jacob. Michel passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the beautiful Rosedale Hospice. Nesta Mary Meikle passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2005.
Nesta is survived by several nieces and nephews, Dan and Robbin of Wetaskiwin, Kathleen and Robert Korda of Fort St. John, BC, Wayne and Sheena of Okotoks, Randy and Mary of Calgary, Wendy and Graham Reid of Brooks, Bob and Barb of Michigan; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Ailene Mae Gibson, beloved wife of Bill Gibson of Calgary, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the age of 83 years, after a three year battle with lymphoma.
Ailene was born on February 26, 1922 in South Bend, Indiana where she grew up and graduated from Business College. She and Bill were married on September 14, 1946 and together lived in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, and Arizona, before moving to Canada and living in both Quebec and Alberta. During her working career, Ailene was Vice President of Universal Go-Tract Limited. She loved to golf, and travelled extensively. She leaves behind many friends, and will be missed by her Shih-Tzu “Niki”.
Besides her loving husband Bill, Ailene will be remembered by her children, JoAnn and Charles Nenadic of Villa Hills, KY, Linda and Barry Cook of Winchester, ON and Rob and Janine Gibson of Calgary; as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Sybil and Dorothy. Ailene was predeceased by her brothers, Harold and Earl.

Peggie Baldwin was set free from her long struggle with Alzheimer Disease on Thursday, October 27th, 2005 at the age of 78 years.
Peggie was born in Toronto, Ontario on December 2nd, 1926. She graduated from Lawrence Park Collegiate and attended the University of Toronto where she completed a diploma in Occupational Therapy in 1947. Peggie was a long time member of the famous Leslie Bell Singers and always loved her association with this marvelous group. She led a long, interesting and productive life, loved to travel, study and was always interested in the world around her. She returned to university later in life, completing a degree in Religious Studies at the University of Calgary in 1995 – the oldest graduate that year. Musician, scholar, equestrian, animal lover, Muskoka cottager, mother and grandmother, she will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Peggie leaves behind her sister and brother; Joan and Alan, former husband Ben; three children and their partners, Kim and Shaunna, Carolyn and Beric and Gordon and Sheila. Her grandchildren, Gareth, Sarah, Scott, Kevin, Nick, Lauren, Cody and William, will all miss their Grammie very much.
Peggie has gone now to join those who have journeyed on before. We will all meet her again someday.

John Ivor Strong passed away on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the age of 96 years.
Ivor was born on October 23, 1909 in Portage La Prairie, MB. Most of Ivor’s childhood was spent in Prince Albert, where he graduated from high school at the age of fifteen. He then attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated as an Engineer at the age of nineteen.
Ivor’s career as an Engineer started in 1926 taking him many places, but ending up in Calgary, and starting his own practice of Strong, Lamb and Nelson Ltd. in 1958. In 1965 he served as Chief Commissioner for the City of Calgary until 1971. For his many years of service to Calgary there was a bridge named after him. Ivor was also a life member of APEGGA.
Ivor is survived by children, Michael and Patricia Strong of Calgary, Richard Strong of Hastings Lake, AB, and Tony Strong of Long Valley, NJ; four grandchildren, David (Henny), Trish, Chris (Brenda) and Paul; and one great granddaughter Holly. Ivor was predeceased by his wife Audrey in 1994; and his grandson Stephen.
